Pastors Tom and Bonnie began prayer meetings 30 years ago. As the church has grown, they have entrusted the day to day running of this vital ministry to faithful teams of people.
Our senior pastors cast the vision and give the overall direction for the prayer Ministry.
Pastor Bonnie is a Worship Leader and has written many songs including “Let us Pray”. We have a strong emphasis of worship in the church and therefore daily prayer, which has been happening since 1997, marries prayer and worship in the meetings.
The main thrust of prayer is fully described in a book by Pastor Tom called Surgical Prayer. Surgical Prayer is effective in expanding the Kingdom of God through precise, penetrating, purposeful, prescriptive, prophetic, pastoral and practical prayer.
We pray into the spheres of influence in society, namely, Business, Economics, Agriculture, Church, Government, Family, Education, Health, Science, Technology, Arts, Media, Entertainment and Sports. We also pray for our services before we begin, with the Pre-Service Prayer. We also hold, All Night Prayers,,every first Friday of the month.
