What We Do

Champions for Life creates safe spaces where youth living with HIV can access healthcare, nutritious food, counseling, and encouragement within their own neighborhoods. We work with communities and local partners to keep the programs going. With six active communities, we focus on mentorship and spiritual care, treatment and nutrition, and equipping young people with income-generating skills, while also supporting local clinics with tools and resources.

Why It Matters

For young people living with HIV, hopelessness is often the biggest obstacle to building a future. In Zimbabwe, where more than 11% of the populations is living with HIV/AIDS, access to consistent treatment is essential to remain in remission. Yet stigma, discrimination, and lack of resources create additional barriers for youth already facing immense challenges.
